New Living and Retail Spaces Part of State Street Revitalization
Beloit, WI – March 3, 2025 – A new chapter in downtown Beloit’s revitalization is underway with the announcement of the State Street Studio Apartments, located at 311 and 317 State Street. This exciting redevelopment features 10 second-floor studio apartments and fully renovated first-floor retail spaces. Both residential and retail construction are slated for completion in Summer 2025.

The State Street Studio Apartments will include studio units ranging from 639 to 786 square feet. Each unit has been carefully designed to offer a contemporary living experience with thoughtful layouts and high-end finishes, while staying true to the building’s original architectural character.
In addition to the residential apartments, three to five first-floor retail spaces ranging from 1,200 to 3,000 square feet will bring vibrancy to the street, complementing the surrounding community and providing new shopping and dining options. The project will include restoration of the original facades, bringing back the time-appropriate character of the buildings, and making necessary repairs to ensure the longevity of the buildings.
