This massive structure housed manufacturing operations from the 1920's, when it was built, through the 1960's, when it was vacated. The 139,000 sq. ft. vacant building became an eyesore. Ken Hendricks saw its potential and decided to renovate the building. Hendricks Development Group began design on it, challenged with accommodating concrete columns only 25 feet apart, 2 layers of 20-inch thick concrete floors, and dozens of window openings, all different sizes and shapes.
This vision became a reality in a 16-month time frame, and ABC Supply Co.'s National Support Center moved into the renovated building in 1997 and Beloit now has this gorgeous structure standing majestically along the Rock River.
